Kathy Blake Art

I've been playing around with making art for 10 years or so. You can see a few samples here of watercolor, oil and collage. There's plenty more to see! As I get to it, I'll change these and post much more.

Please ask if you'd like an email with a better image of any of the pictures you see here or if you'd like samples of other subjects, formats, materials, etc. If you're in NYC and would like to see anything in person, we can make an appointment.

My second date with my husband, Tom Feeney, was a holiday party at a photographer's studio in December 2000. My friends Linda Osborne and Cole Riggs had a busy studio on West 26 St in NYC.

That's us - Sept 07

Cole had some of my pictures on-hand because he'd done me the huge favor of taking slides of them. When Tom and I got to the party, I was surprised to see that Linda had hung them around the studio -- and they looked great! Tom asked me how many paintings I had. I said, um, about 500 - what do you think I should do with them? His two-word advice: SELL THEM.

So, now, seven years later, we have a warehouse full of art. If you see anything you like, help us out and buy some!

When you're in Petaluma, California, stop by The Magic Key, my sister's extremely cool shop. Ask for her, Laurie Erickson, and she can show you some of my things.

In July and August 08, I'm scheduled to have a show in the greenhouse at the James Beard House, 116 W 12th St, NYC. I'll post more info as the time gets closer.
